BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

As a strategist, much of my work throughout my time in agencies has focused on new business development.  I have a track record of success designing strategies, developing responses to RFPs and leading pitch teams to successful results in best and final presentations.

ENTERTAINMENT SOFTWARE ASSOCIATION

Amidst a rash of mass shootings, Congress set its sights on the Entertainment Software Association, holding hearings and threatening legislation that blamed video games for the outbreak of violence. In response, I led a proposal to launch an advocacy campaign focused on educational gaming and other positive qualities the industry offers to consumers.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CONVENIENCE STORES

As convenience stores across the country began to offer fresh produce and healthy alternatives to their customers, I led a proposal to the National Association of Convenience Stores to launch an advocacy campaign aimed at policymakers and media influencers to reframe the negative perception of convenience stores and elevate their ability to influence important policy debates.

COMMUNITY ONCOLOGY ALLIANCE

Consumer marketing and advocacy communications combine in this proposal, which I led to raise awareness of the important steps community oncology centers have taken in recent years to improve their services and save the lives of millions of cancer patients. The proposal focuses on content  creation across a range of channels to make patients, policymakers, influencers more aware of the benefits they bring to the American health care system

CONSUMER TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION

As the wireless industry races to implement 5G, CTIA must overcome a variety of legislative and regulatory hurdles to establish the infrastructure needed to support the new network. I led this proposal to use eye-catching creative to visualize the future in 5G and spur policymakers to take decisions that will make it a reality.

GROCERY MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION

With a GMO labeling mandate from Congress on the horizon, GMA aimed to get in front by establishing SmartLabel, a voluntary labeling system. I led this proposal that included creative campaign concepts for in-store and digital promotion and an aggressive advocacy strategy to convince labeling advocates in Congress that a voluntary system offered more benefits than a mandate.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS

When the recording industry pushed the FCC to raising licensing fees that would destroy terrestrial radio, I led a proposal to the National Association of Broadcasters to use the Free Radio Alliance to protect against costly regulatory changes from the FCC.
